Indications

Install this update if you are using the OpenLDAP Server.

Problem description

The LDAP server stopped answering requests when "OPENLDAP_RUN_DB_RECOVER"
was set to "yes" and rcldap start was called multiple times while the
LDAP server was running.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:

rpm -Fhv openldap2.rpm openldap2-client.rpm openldap2-devel.rpm openldap2-back-ldap.rpm openldap2-back-meta.rpm openldap2-back-monitor.rpm openldap2-back-perl.rpm
