Indications

Everyone who uses IPsec or disabled IPv6 support in SuSEfirewall2 should
update.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

  • support forwarding of decrypted IPsec packets independent of FW_IPSEC_TRUST
  • also source config file in "close" mode to not install IPv6 rules if FW_IPv6=no
  • fix wrong comment about IPsec configuration in sysconfig file

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Uvh SuSEfirewall2.rpm
