Indications

Everyone installing SLES9-SP4 in a Xen virtual machine should update.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

This update integrates Xen support into Yast. It includes installation of SLES9-SP4 inside a paravirtualized or fully virtualized Xen virtual machine. (feature #301974)
Additionally the following bug was fixed: Bug #244483: YaST would not start if its PID was longer than 6 digits due to a problem in creating its temporary directory. inst_suseconfig client called at the end of Online Update uses the new API of Arch.ycp introduced in SP4, but at that time the old one is still in memory. This fix introduces new module KernelUpdated that will ensure the usage of correct API.
