Problem description

The SUN Java packages have been upgraded to fix security problems.
SUN Java was upgraded to 1.3.1_19 for SLES 8, and 1.4.2_13 for SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 1 and SLES 9.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh java2.rpm java2-jre.rpm
