Contraindications

Users of Konqueror who rely on the telnet:// or rlogin:// URL schemes.

Problem description

Konqueror's support for the telnet:// and rlogin:// URL schemes can be abused by hostile web sites to execute commands on the client system with the privileges of the local user. This update disables the telnet:// and rlogin:// URL schemes for KDE2.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes
