Indications

Everyone using namcd on Open Enterprise Server 1.x should install this update.

Contraindications

None.

Description

This update fixes the following issues:

Slow root login after DSFW joins the tree.
namcd is causing the server to slow down and hang.
Novell LDAP client double frees or corrupts memory if the LDAP server is unstable.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as RPM packages that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh NLDAPsdk.rpm NLDAPbase.rpm
