Problem description

Security fix for remote denial-of-service attack by sending a malformed "tunnel password" package that results in a faulty memory allocation.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh freeradius.rpm freeradius-devel.rpm

After the installation of the package you have to restart the freeradius daemon by typing:
rcradiusd restart
