Problem description

Three security vulnerabilities have been found in MySQL which allow local users to bypass access restrictions to tables and databases. They have been tracked by CVE-2006-4031, CVE-2006-4226 and CVE-2006-4227.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as RPM packages that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh mysql.rpm mysql-Max.rpm
