Indications

Fix some SCSI timeout problems on IBMSIS controllers.

Problem description

This update fixes some SCSI timeout problems on the IBMSIS controllers (LTC#6551/SUSE#35041).
If you need the updated firmware installed, run /etc/init.d/boot.ibmsis after the update. A reboot is not necessary.

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh ibmsis.rpm
