Indications

Everyone who uses 4846-5x5 models on Novell Linux POS should use these images.

Problem description

NLPOS9-SSP3 was released with an entry for the 4846-xx5 models which were still in development at the time. Later, the 4846-5x5 box GA'ed (General Availability) with a last second change to the BIOS settings for the SATA drive. Originally the drives would get configured to an IDE emulation mode, but now they configure in SATA mode.

Solution

Please use the updated boot images provided at the location noted below.
