- First, download the disk image (for the URL please see below) Copy the file megaide-5.07r-SLES8-SP3.floppy to a floppy disk:
dd if=megaide-5.07r-SLES8-SP3.floppy of=/dev/fd0 bs=8k - For installation follow the appropriate step depending on your boot
media:
- If you boot the system from CD, you only have to insert the driver disk; the installer will pick up the updated driver automatically.
- If you boot from a floppy disk, press <ALT> when the boot screen is shown. The installer will prompt you for the driver disk later on.

Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE and all related documentation like any other copyrighted material except that you may either: (a) make one (1) copy of the SOFTWARE solely for backup and archival purposes, or (b) transfer the SOFTWARE to a single hard disk, provided you keep the original solely for backup or archival purposes. You will not copy the written material accompanying the SOFTWARE.
3.Other restrictions
You will not rent, sublicense, lease, or distribute the SOFTWARE, by any means or in any form, but you may transfer the original diskette (s) of the SOFTWARE and original written documentation on a one-time basis provided you retain no copies of the SOFTWARE and written materials and the recipient assumes all of the terms of this Agreement. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE.
