None.

Problem description

A signedness bug and incorrect password verification have been found in the MySQL server. Only valid MySQL users can exploit these bugs and crash the MySQL server since the bug happens after the authentication. Additionally, a buffer overflow in the MySQL client library has been found.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fhv mysql.rpm
