Contraindications

Problem description

The Mono System.Xml.Serialization class contained a /tmp race which allows local attackers to potentially execute code as the user using the Serialization method.
This consolidating update re-adds some missing package provides.

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fhv mono.rpm  mono-devel.rpm
