Problem description

This update of freetype2 fixes an integer overflow in the BDF font parsing code. This bug can be exploited only with user assistance to potentially execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2007-1351)

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh freetype2.rpm freetype2-devel.rpm
