Problem description

This update fixes the following security problem:
  • format strings in file names could possibly lead to executing arbitrary code when opening the file (CVE-2006-0082)
  • shell meta characters in files names could lead to executing arbitrary code when opening the file (CVE-2005-4601).


Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh ImageMagick.rpm
