Description

This update fixes multiple bugs in PHP:
  • Predictable generaton of an initialization vector (IV) in the mcrypt extension
  • Additional cookie attributes could be injected via a session ID.
This update covers CVE IDs CVE-2007-2727 and CVE-2007-3799.

Installation notes

This update is provided as RPM packages that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh mod_php4.rpm mod_php4-core.rpm mod_php4-devel.rpm mod_php4-servlet.rpm
