It contains the following improvements / bugfixes:
Groupware fixes:
  • password encoding fixes
  • fixed a problem where groupware rights inserted several times for a user instead of updating
  • some minor optimizations for cleaning/closing connections and open file handles if a thread will be terminated by some reasons
  • for distributed environments an init method must be called for the communication with the sessiond
  • fixed a problem that the selection jumps back to default when toggle between project pages
Webmail fixes:
  • "enhancement": Now it's possible to choose where the user wants to place a signature (above or below the quote)
  • fixed typos at the EN locales file
  • searching for a groupware contact doesn't display the found contact when using umlauts
Administration fixes:
  • password encoding fixes
  • some small fixes to suad
  • fixed wrong path to cacert.der in
  • fixed baseDN parsing error in
  • added missing end tags to login form
  • fix to the user deactivation function


Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

Stop the following services before you start the update:
rcapache stop rcgroupware stop rcwebmail stop rctomcat stop rcsessiond stop rcsuad stop
You can install now the update packages using this command:
rpm -Uvh comfire-intranet.rpm comfire-webmail.rpm imapweb32.rpm suad32.rpm
Please reboot your machine to ensure all services are properly restarted:
init 6
