Problem description

This package fixes several small issues compared to the one released in SP2 and brings ocfs2-tools and ocfs2console uptodate with regards to the Oracle version.
Issues addressed include:
  • heartbeat deadtime settable from o2cb init script
  • don't rewrite cluster.conf in-place, which could fail if the disk was full.
  • fsck updates.
Init script now depends on iscsi to allow OCFS2 volumes to be hosted on networked storage.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh ocfs2-tools.rpm ocfs2console.rpm
