Indications

Everyone using FEATURE(`enhdnsbl') with sendmail should install this
update.

Problem description

If the DNS map feature is enabled (it is disabled by default) remote
attackers can crash sendmail processes by sending special crafted
broken DNS replies.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh sendmail.rpm
Please restart the sendmail service afterwards by using
rcsendmail restart
