Indications

Everyone using heimdal with samba should upgrade

Problem description

Fixed several Samba and Windows interoperability problems:

correctly handle RESPONSE_TOO_BIG response from Windows kdc
fixed crash with certain versions of winbind of Samba
fixed crash in telnet used with w2k kdc

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh heimdal.rpm heimdal-lib.rpm heimdal-tools.rpm heimdal-devel.rpm
