Indications

Everyone wanting to create groups with AutoYaST should update.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

Creating groups via AutoYaST does not work as they are not written to
the /etc/group file. This patch fixes the problem.
The patch also fixes the detection of NIS servers.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh yast2-users.rpm
