Problem description

A vulnerability in the Java plug-in may allow an untrusted applet to escalate
privileges, through JavaScript calling into Java code, including reading and
writing files with the privileges of the user running the applet. (Mitre CVE
ID CAN-2004-1029)

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh java2.rpm java2-jre.rpm
