Indications

This update enables machines using a realtek-NIC booting via PXE.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

This patch is only needed when you want to boot a Realtek based POS machine
over PXE. It is not needed when you boot a Realtek based machine from the
internal harddisk (for example).

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh POS_Image-DiskNetboot2.rpm POS_Image-DiskNetboot-Binary2.rpm
