Indications

Install when using the Apache HTTP server with mod_cache or mod_proxy.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

This update provides improvements for the mod_cache and mod_proxy modules.
The experimental mod_cache module has a new CacheIgnoreHeaders directive which allows to strip header lines, like private session IDs, from responses when they are cached. This is a backported feature from the 2.0.54 version of the server.
The proxy modules mod_proxy_html and mod_proxy_ftp did not handle client-aborted connections correctly. It tried to continue to pass data from the origin server to the client. This has been fixed.
