Problem description

Bug fixes:
  • Fix stub relaxing [#289399].
  • Update sanity checks [#221880].
  • PowerPC ld -relax fix [#118529].
  • Fix patch for #48657 [#132219].
  • Correct handling of dot symbols for version scripts [#143533].
New feature: This implements a feature accepting the command line argument --dynamic-list FILE which is a controlled form of -Bsymbolic. C++ exception handling is broken when using -Bsymbolic, this option enables the user to exempt typeinfo symbols from -Bsymbolic effects, thereby not breaking exception handling.
