Problem description

The scim packages originally distributed with SLES9 were quite old and buggy,
updating to scim 1.0.1 is the best way to fix those bugs.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh scim,scim-config-gconf,scim-config-socket,scim-devel,scim-frontend-socket,scim-gtk2-immodule,scim-server-socket,scim-chinese.rpm
