Problem description

Security Update: Several integer overflow and arithmetic mistakes lead to remote crash of xpdf and even remote command execution while processing a malicious PDF file.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh xpdf.rpm
