Problem description

The passwordfd plugin for the ppp daemon is faulty. The list of possible command line parameters is not properly terminated, resulting in a crash or lockup of pppd on dial-in.

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Uvh ppp.rpm
