Indications

Everybody using DHCP with data stored in LDAP should update.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

  • Fix reconnection to LDAP server when the server had been down.
  • fix possible crash when more than 1 external DN is added
  • fix possible infinite loop when reading the external DNs, shared-network name quoting, multiple dhcpRanges and anonymous ldap bind (check if userdn given in config)

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh dhcp-server.rpm
