Indications

Everyone should update to this version.

Problem description

If the kernel accidentially reports a number of ticks that is negative, top
would spit out bogus numbers. If it's zero it would crash. This update fixes
the described problem with top and some kernel versions.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh ps.rpm
