Contraindications

Problem description

On machines where /proc/meminfo is larger than 1024 bytes, the
ps command can fail with a segmentation fault. This update increases
the buffer for reading /proc/meminfo.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fhv ps.rpm
