Problem description

This patch contains the s390-tools as of
2003-02-20 Utilities for the "August 2001 stream" (sles7-s390x, 7.2-s390) http://www10.software.ibm.com/developerworks/opensource/linux390/current2_4_x-august2001.shtml#s390tools20030220
or
2003-02-20 Utilities for the "May 2002 stream" (sles8-s390,sles8-s390x) http://www10.software.ibm.com/developerworks/opensource/linux390/current2_4_19-may2002.shtml#s390tools20030220
which respectively fixes the following problems for all versions of sles:

IBM-Id: 1861 Wrong VTOC bit for large DASD
IBM-Id: 1946 zgetdump does not complain if filesystem is full

This patch also adds the IBM script "/bin/dbginfo.sh" which collects useful information
for IBM debugging purposes.
For the SLES7 platforms, this patch adds 3590 tape driver tools too. These are only useful if you also update to the most current kernel for your distribution, which contains the OCO tape driver modules to access your tape device.

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Uhv s390-tools.rpm
