Problem description

A buffer overflow in the NSS (network security services) code of mozilla could lead to arbitrary remote code execution under the privileges of the user running mozilla. These packages contain an update for the included NSS code which fixes this bug. Additionally a cross site scripting bug within mozilla has been fixed. SecurityFocus announcement

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

If you use the german language-pack for mozilla you have
This update is provided as RPM packages that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh --nodeps mozilla.rpm mozilla-mail.rpm mozilla-irc.rpm
Please don't forget to make an update of your language-pack if you used Mozilla 1.2.1 before.
