Indications

This package is only useful if you are preparing install media.

Contraindications

Problem description

YaST adds translated texts when preparing /boot/message. They were not taken into account when creating the font for gfxboot. So some glyphs (notably Korean) were missing (#310459).

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fhv gfxboot.rpm
