Problem description

Security Fix:
The GLX and DRI code of the Xserver did not verify the "screen" parameter in several functions. This failure leads to a denial-of-service condition and probably to arbitrary code execution as root. (CAN-2004-0093, CAN-2004-0094)

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as RPM packages that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh xloader.rpm xmodules.rpm xf86_glx.rpm
