Indications

This update corrects a problem where initrd is placed on the wrong partition.

Problem description

This patch corrects a problem within linuxrc for the disknetboot image
where the initrd was being placed on the wrong partition if it is not
the second partition on the hard disk.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fhv POS_Image-DiskNetboot2.rpm POS_Image-DiskNetboot-Binary2.rpm
