Indications

Everyone using kopete in conjunction with GroupWise Messenger SP2 servers should install this update.

Contraindications

None.

Description

With Service Pack 2 of GroupWise Instant Messenger, keepalive messages were introduced to conserve server resources. This update activates the keepalive function in kopete_groupwise.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger.rpm
