If you are using one of the latest kernels (after june 2003) you need this
update.

Contraindications

Do not use this package with kernel versions from before june 2003.

Problem description

This update contains the new firmware file for the AVM FRITZCARD!DSL
controller. Needed by the new driver in the update kernel versions.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh avm_fcdsl.rpm
