Indications

Install on problems with UTF-8 and session handling.

Problem description

This release fixes wrong spelling of UTF-8 locale names in the gdm
locale.alias file.
And the usual intialization files of an X session, i.e. ~/.xinitrc,
~/.xsession, ~/.Xmodmap, etc. are not longer ignored by gdm2, which
prevents inputservers and other settings from being started
automatically.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Uvh gdm2.rpm
