Problem description

This version upgrade to 0.92.1 fixes numerous flaws including some security problems (CVE-2008-0318, CVE-2008-0728).
Please note that the version number of the clamav library has changed in version 0.92. Programs linked against older libclamav therefore need to be updated as well.

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fhv clamav.rpm  clamav-db.rpm
