  • Added fixes for VSW4 (part of LSB test suite, Bug #63301)
  • Added support for Intel 915GM gfx chip (feature document)
  • Added extra cache flush to ensure icache is coherent when modules are loaded; required for IA64 (Bug #75459)
  • Added support for ATI RN50/ES1000 gfx chip (Bug #73054)
  • Fixed screen drawing on VGA console; important for IA64 (Bug #35127)

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh XFree86.rpm XFree86-libs.rpm XFree86-server.rpm XFree86-devel.rpm
