Problem description

Some Startup Programs entries have the delete option disabled. This measure does not effectively stop the user from removing the entry in question. This addition to our autostart implementation allows admins to lock autostarted services so that users cannot modify/disable them at all.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh gnome-session.rpm
