Indications

Everyone using Novell iFolder on Open Enterprise Server should update.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

If the connection between iFolder server and the LDAP server is lost, this fix
will help iFolder server to automatically reconnect to LDAP server and
establish new session once the LDAP server is available to it. The iFolder
server will resume work from the point where it encountered the problem.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh novell-ifolder-2.1.7-20060606_1647.i586.rpm
