Indications

Please install this update if you want to setup your mail server for receiving e-mails for a virtual domain.

Contraindications

None.

Problem description

The YaST2 mail server module does not set the attribute virtual_alias_domains explicitly. This can cause that the virtual domains cannot be found. Please install this update if you want to setup your mail server for receiving e-mails for a virtual domain.
If you have already started the YaST2 mail server module on your system, you can fix this problem with the following commands:
postconf -e virtual_alias_maps=ldap:/etc/postfix/ldaplocal_recipient_maps.cf postconf -e virtual_alias_domains=ldap:/etc/postfix/ldapvirtual_alias_maps.cf

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh yast2-mail-server.rpm
