Use this if DB2 Control Center doesn't start up.

Problem description

KDE exports a LD_HWCAP_MASK environment variable that can cause problems on
non-x86 platforms. As the environment variable is no longer needed, it has
been removed from the startup script. It should fix performance and
compatibility problems on non-x86 architectures.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh kdebase3.rpm kdebase3-devel.rpm kdebase3-kdm.rpm kdebase3-samba.rpm kdebase3-extra.rpm kdebase3-nsplugin64.rpm kdebase3-nsplugin.rpm kdebase3-ksysguardd.rpm
