Problem description

This Mozilla Firefox security update fixes a denial of service attack where a remote user could crash the browser.
The IDN support is now disabled by default.
This is tracked by the Mitre CVE ID CAN-2005-2871.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh MozillaFirefox.rpm MozillaFirefox-translations.rpm
