Everyone using the Apache web server with mod_ssl should update this package. If the apache package is updated this package has to be updated, too.

Description

This is the mod_ssl patchset package that matches the Apache 1.3.24 update package.

Installation notes

Installing the update package
This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Uvh mod_ssl.rpm
Notes on server (re-)configuration
Note that "SSLEngine" statement defaults to "Off" in the default apache configuration. After the apache update you need to set the value to "yes" or "on" to reenable SSL support.
