Indications

This package fixes several C++ problems in the ppc64 crosscompiler.

Problem description

This fixes following C++ problems in the ppc64 crosscompiler:

Fixed LTC#5493/SUSE#33358: The C++ STL headers were put at the wrong location, so that even simple C++ programs failed to compile.
Fixed LTC#5502/SUSE#33492: Symbol mismatch with the "hypot" function between the cross 64bit libstdc++ and the runtime 64bit libstdc++.
Fixed LTC#5503/SUSE#33561: Make sure we have the same clocale implementation as the native libstdc++ to avoid binary incompatibility.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:


rpm -Fvh cross-ppc64-gcc.rpm
