Problem description

The Mono System.Xml.Serialization class contained a /tmp race which allows
local attackers to potentially execute code as the user using the
Serialization method. (CVE-2006-5072)

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh mono.rpm mono-devel.rpm
