Problem description

The madwifi-ng Atheros Wireless LAN card driver is subject to a remotely exploitable stack buffer overflow, this update fixes this problem. (CVE-2006-6332)
This update also brings madwifi to version 0.9.2.1.

Solution

Please install the updates provided at the location noted below.

Installation notes

This update is provided as an RPM package that can easily be installed onto a running system by using this command:
rpm -Fvh madwifi.rpm madwifi-kmp-default.rpm madwifi-kmp-bigsmp.rpm madwifi-kmp-smp.rpm
